The Freeze were a band that I grew up with. I was a rebellious teen in the 80′s, and the hardcore punk scene in Boston was a great place to feel a part of something. The Freeze were always playing all ages shows, and they became one of my favorite bands. They were fast and tight, and they had intelligent lyrics. I used to travel around to see them. I met my wife in 1985 at a Freeze show in Providence. I can thank Cliff and the boys for that, and the least I could do was have them on my show. They rocked as hard as they ever did.
